apr 16 - the da vinci code
dear diary,
i know i said i wouldn't touch the da vinci code with a ten foot-long pole, but father brought it home the other day. i am now reading it and currently at chapter 79.
i'm finding it quite delightful and interesting. delightful that it is full of revelations such as:
1. the planet venus traced a perfect pentacle across the ecliptic sky every eight years.
2. mona lisa's secret is amon and isis. (i loved this v. much. it made me smile)
interesting in explaining the holy grail. all i that i used to know about the holy grail was indiana jones's adventures looking for it. i especially loved the part when donovan drank from the wrong chalice and dissolved into dust. heee. man. i love indiana jones.
i must admit i also felt a little thrill when i envisioned both langdon and neveu having to run all around the louvre searching for clues. unfortunately this did not happen.
