july 13 - hotdangit tristram
for some reason out of all of arthur's knights, my favourite has always been tristan. maybe i like his name or variations of it, maybe it's because i like his tale the best. i have no feelings for arthur and have never liked launcelot. tristan for me is like a knight in shining armor.
so i was disappointed that tristan in the movie king arthur was almost boorish, coarse, and unkempt. he has braids in his hair and hair in his eyes! and markings on cheeks oded fehr-style! hotdangit, tristram!!! the only favor you win from me is because you have an eagle. i love eagles.
aw, tristan. everytime i saw you last night you made me want to cry.
