aug 02 - You're breaking my heart

This is Star Wars Revenge of the Sith by Matthew Stover Based on the story and screenplay by George Lucas:
Costed 14.90 on a discount.
It spewed a little bit too much of useless details and is very fond of the word spastic to describe actions and droids in the beginning. It is full of starting a new chapter by going: This is (someone): ; anybody who's a somebody will at least get one. It will be decided that it's quite a bore the first three fifths of.

This is how it feels to be Neri Atreides Skywalker, reading the book:
You threw it the first time around because it felt so.. wrong. But then you picked it up again because this is Star Wars, dammit, and your love for Star Wars knows no bounds... and you're glad that this book was bought on sale.
Sometimes the words in your head goes 'A hurricane roared through life, blablablablablabla Grievous sprang blablabla (oh finally Ben shows up) ..'. Man. You've read a lot of Star Wars novelisations (one of your favourite is The Courtship of Princess Leia) but this is the boring. Est. Bejeebus. But still, you trudge through.
Luckily the story at last seemed to pick up some speed and you race through just like Ben raced through to find the ultimate betrayal..
You found your favourite line missing from one scene ("Anakin! You're breaking my heart!") but it's okay. You'll say it for yourself. You can't help your mouth turning down when Anakin dies and Lord Darth Vader was born.
You can't stop the heaviness in your heart. About Luke. And Leia. And you start feeling angry about the future to come. And angrier when you remember the union between Luke and Mara Jade. You don't even 'capital letters' your anger. The anger is like a slow, simmering rage. Because Luke is not supposed to be with anyone. Like you.
You (want to) weep.
