A mini-interview with the band Lobster Thermindor. Lobster Thermindor comprises 4 members: Tomi(bassist), Dickie(singer), Hari(guitarist) and Neri(drumer).
How did you came up with the name?
Tomi: We actually had a list of band names that we liked-
Dickie: Neri came up with Lobster Thermindor at the last minute.
Neri: Hahaha. I was at this one restaurant and they had Lobster Thermindor on the menu. I thought it was cool. I laughed my socks off.
Dickie: Before that we were going to settle for Boredom is Reality.
Hari: Boredom IS Reality!!
Tomi: Yeah. But Lobster Thermindor was absolutely fantastic- it's like saying we ARE the best, but hold on! We're probably not there yet but right now, we are kind of AWESOME. CLASSY LOBSTER THERMINDOR AWESOME.
Hari: Totally, dudes.
Neri: Awesome.
So the first single is titled "You don't feel guilty". What inspired this? It's a very good song, a little funny, but it speaks the truth.
Dickie: We're surrounded by people who we feel should feel guilty of the things they're doing or have done- but they don't! So we just wanted to say that out loud.
Neri: It's like you have this chance to change things, to help things go along, and yet you don't use it. And you're not even guilty. That's sometimes baffling.
Hari: Some people feel guilty all the time. These people are not those.
Neri: Duhhh.
Tomi: This is for the leaders of the world. WORLD PEACE IS AWESOME.
Hari: Yeah, this is dedicated to them. Towards world peace. Hahaha.
Dickie: And you. You should wash the dishes more, dude. You're guilty.
Describe your music?
Neri: It's... I have no idea.
Hari: It's... just music I guess. But it's awesome music. You'll listen, and you'll AGREE.
Tomi: This question is kind of hard. I did not see this coming.
As music-making people, what is/are your aspiration/s?
Dickie: We want to be famous.
Neri: Yeah, Wikipedia-famous. Like Fall Out Boy.
Tomi: YEAH!!!
Neri: I love Wikipedia.
Hari: Wikipedia is our friend.
Tomi: Wikipedia-famous that someone else wrote us in.
