the other day i heard these three songs because it was valentines day. here be my thoughts about it:
paula abdul rush rush - I CAN TOTALLY REMEMBER 85% OF THE WORDS! awesome. very simple words and very very mushy. ew. i don't think i knew exactly what the words meant when i sang it at 9 years old. and i cannot fathom why i liked it too. gross.
98degrees invisible man - i didn't realise it at the time this song was really, really huge and popular - but man, this dude? he's creepy. how come be he knows all the stuff about their relationship and the girl DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HE EXISTS. eavesdropping is foul, man! but also, this song is dedicated to allllll the hollywood men i have crushes on. pick me! i'll make you happy! happier than angelina jolie made you! i promise!
NKOTB the right stuff - i can remember paula abdul's stupid mushy song but on this i can only recall you got the right stuff, baby, love the way you turn me on, you got the right stuff, baby, you're the reason why i sing this song? me, you suck.
