jonathan strange & mr norrell:

this book was boring, funny, scary, and then amusing - and that's only until the middle part. and then it's a mixture of boringness and entertaining and of course very very magical which i just love, and there were footnotes - i fell in love with the foodnotes but that is only after reading that someone said one should pay attention to the footnotes, and i did, and i'm glad, because i love short stories more than anything and the footnotes are literally short stories contained in a very thick volume(i don't even know what that means). i almost cried when arabella stumbled from the mirror and was just spent when the creepy thistle-down hair dude finally died. that dude was too creepy. i dreaded the parts he appears. brrrr.
it was a fabulous and full journey.
this book, i want to go to sleep hugging it. that's truly how i feel.

i also quite liked the nanny diaries, despite it being touted a chick lit. you know, i don't think so. i think this is a smart book. it doesn't say much about branded stuffs. the heroin is not shallow. she's someone i like. and it has heart. and i too am still rooting for grayer x.

for some reason i have discovered that i don't dislike scarlett johanssen anymore. i guess she's just too powerful too resist. not a fan, but, grudgingly i will admit, girl's golden.
