oct 6 - the amber spyglass
i've finally finished the amber spyglass. i figured if i waited until i was ready, i never will be. it was not as bad as i expected it to be, in fact, it's my most favorite book out of the three. the first, introduction, ok, it was fine. i absolutely hated the second. the third was not pleasant at all, but this time the beautiful things - daemons, the little people(can't recall what they are called right now), mulefa, stayed with me through out the horrible times. in this one i cherished and drunk in every word. it's a very, very good piece of story-telling, but so heart-wrenching. i don't know if i'd tell people to read it. i'm not even sure i want to through it again. don't think i'm strong enough.
currently re-reading the man in the iron mask, and vc andrews' heaven.
