Turn around Bright Eyes

every now and then i fall apart

all hallow's eve - i decided to give cecilia ahern

i decided to give cecilia ahern another chance, so i had another go at (reading) her with a place called here. so, it has a really great premise, about a missing persons person who went missing and ended up in 'here', apparently a place or another alternate universe where all things missing will end up. including missing persons. it is actually a very good story, just, maybe her execution is a little off. i was highly interested in what will happen, but i am definitely not a fan of how she puts her words together. i skimmed and skipped a lot of it, just letting myself grab a few important points enough for me to understand what's going on, because to read a whole chapter through(especially towards the end) was just unattractive. also, i found that i did not really care about the heroine. i cared a lot more about the secondary characters, especially the guy who wanted to find his missing brother, (spoiler)only to find that he had been murdered. and (spoiler)bobby, who didn't get to go home at all. not a thoroughly a good read but enjoyable nonetheless.
my friend and i had theorised that while cecilia ahern dreams up great plots, there is nothing from her literature that you can take away from.
(but then again, my friend cried reading ps. i love you so its just me not getting ceci ahern entirely)
