songs, how to charm me: by having music videos that i like.
exhibits:
1. katie perry's thinking of you : the first time i heard this song, i'm not fond of the lyrics. i mean, i'm a prude. (he kissed my lips i taste your mouth). then i saw the video and, i admit i am sap. she's pining away for her lover who went off to war and GOT KILLED. hook, line and sinker.
2. mariah carey's touch my body : lyrics, prude(see above). the video just slays me with kenneth in it. LOVE.
3. jonas bro's burnin up ( i know, JONAS BRO, i'll never live it down, my pride ship, she has SUNKEN) : i am too fond of videos where singers(see above)/band members make fun of themselves. this is why unfortunately the ship that is full of my pride has made like titanic and sunk into the fathomable deep. now, i have nothing.

in other news, new:
i saw terminator 4 last night, for free, which was awesome. and it made me realize, damn, man, i really loved T2. t4 was a HUGE homage to t2. everything was in sync with T2. i love it, i love it(that it was a homage). t3 was entirely dismissable (not helping anything except maybe to intro john's futuro wife) and t1 was made in 1984, dude, i do not know much about that. but t4 was scary. in t2 you hear so much about how the future is apocalypse for the humans, in t4 you witness it. my thoughts while watching were mostly, i can't handle this. i can't handle this. give me aliens and star ships fight anyday, machines are intelligent and faster and more accurate and humans are just lambs to be slaughtered.
i thought it was cool that bryce howard looked a lot like claire danes (kate connor nee brewster 1), and she was so gorgeous? i never knew!
some gripes, though: 1. where is the terminator theme? if it was there it has been changed it was unrecognisable! shame.
2. there will always be problems with things concerning time travel. this year is 2018 and already they have some pretty sweet terminators brought up. these are killing machines that are not easily killed. why on earth john connor sent back inferior machines to protect his mother and himself, supposedly from the year 2029, when there are already some wicked awesome machines in 2018?
and there is always the feeling that, with time travel everything will just actually end up full circle. i mean, in t1 kyle reese was sent back, and made a john connor. but if john connor did not sent him back to the past in the first place, he... doesn't exist? in the end its not really the decision that you make to make certain things happen, it's more like things WILL happen to make the result. all very confusing, and hate to be pondering. but i am pondering! aieeeeee
3. why no faith, john connor, when you have been saved by terminator machines not once, but twice?
