sept 17 - gone
last night i saw east of eden and proceeded to have the biggest crush ever on cal trask/james dean. seriously. that face, those pouting lips, the naughty smile, the haunting look - be still my heart. he's not hot(like simon baker or chace crawford), he's just the sweetest thing you've ever seen - you just want to take him home and cuddle him until he falls asleep in your arms. and as cal trask he was just so naughty - but he's not a bad seed! not bad at all! he was just misunderstood and i can't understand why nobody saw that.
and then i read on wikipedia that some things that he did as cal was impromptu; not called for in the script, like dancing in the fields or hugging his dad after he refused the money - i love him even more.
RIP james dean.

in the papers i read that c. thomas howell said "i lost my outsiders brother", almost made me cry. i love, love, love, love that story.
