Turn around Bright Eyes

every now and then i fall apart

oct 11 - candy-coated misery

things/people/animals i look out for on the way to work:

1. the lady and her dog. one time i didn't see her for a few days and i was worried if the dog had gone missing or something. then one day i saw her running from/towards something and i was seriously concerned that the dog has indeed gone missing. then later i saw them again and the dog has a neck-cone! it was just a little under the weather. phew.
2. hanging coconut bras. they were always just there. hanging on the balcony, morning and evening. only used at night?
3. the house i like to call '10 downing street'. it's just so british, i love how it looks.
4. the two totally adorable some sort of terriers always wondering around their front yard. they bark at people passing. everytime i see them i just go, 'babies!' if i don't see them i get concerned.
5. the dude walking two dogs, one very large and one medium, different breeds, hanging out with a guard friend just chatting.
6. the stray dog, sometimes he disappears for weeks at times but always present again.
7. the cat hanging out the window of it's owner's mansion looking out.

i fell in love with a skirt and thinking about buying a 100ringgit ring through etsy. my past self shakes her head. who is this person totally unrecognisable? (but you haven't seen the skirt, it is like magic, we never knew skirts could be so liberating, right???)

it's hard not to love carrie underwood when she has totally great songs to sing along to. currently i am loving singing along to these words:

He's a good-time cowboy casanova
Leaning up against the record machine
He looks like a cool drink of water
But he's candy-coated misery
He's the devil in disguise
A snake with blue eyes
And he only comes out at night

candy-coated misery! snake with blue eyes! sighhhhhhhhh.
