nov 13 - i hate wenddi
there was an article in the star today that filled me with rage. wenddi, a socialite, told the reporter "a socialite would never be seen wearing the same thing twice." she wore a hat that "costed her nothing" (it was about 200AUD) and because of it won best dressed, or something, at the ascot-like event held at the selangor turf.
she was also indignant at people who did not make the effort to "dress up" to the event.
first of all, wenddi, spelling wendy as wenddi is just tacky. i used to like variations in name-spelling, but i was also 12 years old.
second, seriously?? in this day and age where some people have nothing to eat for days? how about those people in indonesia who lost their homes and livestock to merapi?
to imply that one never wears the same clothes twice is one thing, but to admit it??
boy, socialites sure can be dumb. i'm sure not all but if they go to your school of thought, they are.
wenddi, eat your damn expensive stupid hat. you're not supposed to be seen with it again anyway.
