july 26 - ... zombies
i'm dressed like an 80s character from dynasty today, heee. mom's oversized linen jacket/shirt + blue zebra striped top + mom's black skirt.

finished pride and prejudice and zombies a few nights ago. i didn't really like it in the beginning; i think it's stupid to merge the classics with supernatural elements like this. also i think zombies are dumb. all it did was made me miss the original one, which unfortunately i don't have a copy of. i was also curious how the merging was done, that i procured a free online p&p (some original texts were skipped and abandoned with the zombie references inserted.). i didn't quite like the reference to figthing zombies and intensive trainings, that was the annoying part for me. but now that i had finished and re-read selective snippets of it randomly, i'm thinking that it's not so bad. it can be quite funny, actually. and yesterday while being excited about something(imaginatively) all that i could think about was the description of how half-zombified charlotte, feeling excited, fell to the ground grabbing lettuces to shove them into her mouth. yeah that's funny.
