Turn around Bright Eyes

every now and then i fall apart

nov 3 - wuther and i.

i finally started wutherings height. i remember the movie i tried watching but chickened out because in the beginning scene one old dude was sitting by the window and there was a storm and he thought it was tree branches knocking the window but it turned out there were fingers reaching out towards him! !!!!!! needless to say i turned off the tv as fast as i could and never ever returned to watching wuthering heights.
with trepidations i started reading and I WAS RIGHT THERE WAS A GHOST A CHILD HAS BEEN LOST FOR 20 YEARS AIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEee
this time, though, i continued with the story and luckily the ghost was just that one time. I HOPE!!! i'm currently right into the histories of cathy, heathcliff, isabelle, edgar and hindley being told by ellen/nelly dean.
however, i think i know how the story will end. edgar and cathy will have a girl, right? and isabelle and heathcliff will have a son? and this son and daughter will rebel and defy their parents' odds and marry? heathcliff will make everyone around him suffer as his actions are all about getting revenge. senior cathy will die? and heathcliff will be sorry? he will finally understand that cathy has nothing but pure love for him and he will be sorry for not realising/knowing it sooner. when he dies too they will finally be happy together?
this is a dark, dark, tale and i wouldn't say i'm enjoying it. it is simply a story that needed to be told and i am duly reading it. at times i agree with nelly's sentiments that cathy was really just selfish, but at the same time i understand this 'great and true love' cathy and heathcliff have supposedly. it's heartbreaking, true, but i am also in the opinion that everyone involved had every active part in it and they were in no way victims of others. they chose the path that they are treading upon.
when joseph is speaking i don't understand a word so i skip his whole scripts. hope it won't affect my understanding.

update: i don't think i'll go on reading wuthering heights. i have reached the second part of the book, just after the first catherine died. heathcliff is no hero. he is cold-hearted, selfish, cruel and also annoying. he made the choices, as did catherine, and they deserve whatever payment they received in the end. if they ended up together as ghosts, well, good. hope they'll finally be happy.

i dreamt that i had a secret relationship with my bestfriend's boyfriend. in the end i decided to not continue with it; i wouldn't do that to my bestfriend. the bestfriend looked like blake lively (i DO NOT like blake lively) and the boyfriend was casey's(sp?) cute semi-pudgy ex-boyfie from Greek. but i like the other guy better! the one with heading the other frat house. awwww, dream. why you gotta be so mean.

speaking of greek i was taken aback that kelsey grammer's daughter(casey(sp?)) is purty! she is.

speaking of r.ships, how do people do it? how do they find things they always want to say to each other for years and years and years? i don't even know what to say anymore to some people i've known for years. what if all topics have been exhausted? how do they do that?
