5th August - His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah return all the matters (for decision).
Chapter (57) sūrat l-ḥadīd (The Iron)
Verse (57:5)
Sahih International: His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. And to Allah are returned [all] matters.
Pickthall: His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and unto Allah (all) things are brought back.
Yusuf Ali: To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: and all affairs are referred back to Allah.
Shakir: His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and to Allah are (all) affairs returned.
Muhammad Sarwar: To Him belong the heavens and the earth and to Him all things return.
Mohsin Khan: His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah return all the matters (for decision).
Arberry: To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and unto Him all matters are returned.

Many people have found God in ease. But no one found him by pretending to be perfect. They didn't find him from behind a mask, sitting on the shore. They found Him while lost at sea. They found him on their knees. They found Him with their forehead to the ground. With wet eyes and shattered heart. Humble. Broken. Helpless, sometimes.
